Working together for standards The Web Standards Project

If you’ve visited recently, you may think you’re experiencing a flashback to the 1990s. (Remember those “Best Viewed in Browser X” notices?) Check out their recent redesign using something other than IE 5.5 or above on Windows and you’ll get this browser alert message:

“Notice: You are accessing with a browser that is not currently supported. The appearance and functionality of the site could be impacted. is optimized for Internet Explorer 5.5 and above for Windows.”

Maybe they’re still partying like it’s 1999… or maybe they just need some folks to contact them and help them to understand that their audience is much broader than just IE 5.5 and above on Windows.
