Hi

I'd love Talklets to be listed as a resource.

For those of you who I haven't bored previously, its a web based Assistive Technology. The idea behind which, is essentially, offeing a greater ubiquity of access to enabled services.

i.e. you could think of it as:

Talklets is to JAWS/NVDA as Google Docs is to OpenOffice/MS Word

I'm writing a white paper on it, which will evolve some yet:

http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dgx3sqbv_136fbpdnc88

Any feedback please let me know.

[...] We can now look forward to designers across the globe rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck into the new standards, and I’m sure the collaboration that will come from this will make it a smooth transition. A starter for ten can be found in the WCAG 2.0 resources over at the Web Standards Project. [...]

It will be very interesting to see how quickly these will be adopted once they have become a formal recommendation. Given how long it has taken to get to this point I suspect that there will be resistance to jump in too quickly.

You may want to check out WCAG 2.0, where to start? which I wrote a while ago when at RNIB which should still be relevant.

WAI are also in the process of developing resources on how to transition from WCAG 1.0 to 2.0, presentation material, benefits and so on so keep an eye on that space too.
