Emma Jane Hogbin

Emma Jane Hogbin (www.xtrinsic.com or www.emmajane.net) is a Canadian web developer, technical author and instructor. Emma has helped over 100 small and not-for-profit businesses with their Internet and technology needs. She is a supporter of open source software through training initiatives, documentation efforts and public speaking engagements on behalf of The Linux Documentation Project.

Emma is involved with web accessibility, accessibility in the classroom and web standards. She holds a BSc from the University of Toronto and has taught Internet technologies at Seneca College and Humber College.

The Web Standards Project is a grassroots coalition fighting for standards which ensure simple, affordable access to web technologies for all.
