Working together for standards The Web Standards Project

Virginia DeBolt

Education Task Force Member

Virginia DeBolt is currently writing about Web standards and other Web related topics. She is a former educator who became interested in Web standards and the way they are taught when she was teaching Web design classes herself. She began blogging at Web Teacher about teaching Web design and reviewing books on this topic in 2001. Since then Virginia has written two books about building Web sites using Web standards and has written student’s editions and other curriculum materials for Web design books. She’s done technical editing of Web design books, encouraging Web standards in that role if needed. Her home page is vdebolt.com.

The Web Standards Project is a grassroots coalition fighting for standards which ensure simple, affordable access to web technologies for all.
